Merry Christmas to all!

Ian D. Mead,
President

As we approach the end of the year I like many find myself reflecting on the year past and looking forward to the year ahead.

I'm sure like many of you, it's been a busy year. For us (my family), it's been a very special year as two of our daughters got married two months apart and our third daughter just announced that she is engaged - I did know it was coming! We are so thankful that each of our daughters have chosen young men that share their faith in the Lord and are starting their adult lives in the right direction.

As I look back over the year, we recently released v20 of UltraEdit. It happens to be 20 years this fall since I started work on UltraEdit (MEdit originally) and never did I think that I would be here writing about it 20 years later. Ten years ago we made significant changes and growth with several of our great team members and my partner Richard Knott who has contributed so much over that last 10 years.

None of this would be possible without your loyal and ongoing support of our products, I and we truly appreciate it. It's only with that and God's blessing on what we do that we can celebrate our success over two decades. Thank you!!!

With all of this, we and many of the team have been able to reach out and touch the lives of others in need locally, nationally and around the world. We do this to share the blessings that we have been given and to make a difference in the lives of others. As Christ told us, help the widows and orphans.

This Christmas, let's again reach out to others to make a difference and share the love of Christ in a practical way, and for those that may not share the same belief, please also reach out to those that are less fortunate with compassion from your hearts.

Merry Christmas, and let's always keep Christ in Christmas.

Ian

In a recent discussion on the subject of important tools I said that after installing windows I install UltraEdit or UEStudio next, meaning before missing drivers as I may be needing it during the process. Whenever I need to perform a timeconsuming and used to be tedious operation on a file, I've yet to miss the function in UEStudio or UltraEdit. More often than not UEStudio ends up surprising me with another way of doing what I wanted in a better and more fleksible way. Registered since 2002? originally on my alt.net account, today I summed my IDM licenses to a total of 15, all lifetime, it goes without saying I'm at great loss without your programs to serve my everyday needs when working with computers. It also goes to show that you take care of your customers and that the actual sale is just a part of it.

I will join ranks with the others and wish a Merry Christmas to you, your family and the staff. May next year be even more prosperous and to better for all.

To you and the entire IDM team... Merry CHRISTmas from my family. Not sure when I began using UltraEdit (and now UEStudio), but it has been much more than a decade and I still appreciate your annual Christmas letter.

Thanks for a great product and for doing your part to keep Christ in Christmas!

Ian,
Thank you and your team for the great products, I have been using them > 17 years.
Yes, a blessing to have children be committed to others that are looking to follow the one who came to reverse the reversal of man's choice.

Continue in excellence.

One of the few tools that's stood the test of time

I can count on one hand the number of software tools that I've counted on since the last century and UltraEdit is first and foremost.

To the entire UltraEdit team, may you have a very merry Holiday Season and receive all the blessings you so richly deserve in the New Year.

Ian,
I too, am among your almost 20 year users; can't say I use it everyday, but I always come back to it and usually bring two or three developers, "into the light" each time I return.

Thank you for sharing your real and spiritual life with the world; you have always been a giver and never a taker.

Wow. This is an achievement. I have been ordering Ultra Edit at every new job I advance to. I started with Ultra edit back in the early years, it has gotten better and better. I am looking forward to the new features. I love this tool as a USB portable app. I am about to wear out the stick I use it on. It is the key that unleashes my arsenal of code, everywhere I go.

20 years on, still better than slick edit, et. al.

I began using UltraEdit back in 1995. The binary and column edit modes saved many a long hour debugging cross system data formatting!
Today, there are so many features that make this my go-to tool.

Ian and the Team,

I have been enjoying the benefits of UltraEdit for 15 of those 20 years at work - and introducing it to others. Large bridge analysis generates massive ASCII output was almost impossible to manipulate with the tools available 15 years ago - except for UltraEdit. It has also been my constant companion for scripting, program writing, binary data debugging (love the Hex mode), and occasionally deciphering corrupted file types. For most of those years I also bought a copy for my home computer - first Windows, and now Linux.

May God continue to bless your family and business.
Merry Christmas and a Blessed new year.
