Announcing v5.10 of UltraCompare
We are proud to announce v5.10 of UltraCompare. This new release brings you many of your user-requested features that give you added control and flexibility over your comparision operations!
Version 5.10 includes the ability to compare text snippets - simply paste in the text you want to compare! Merge and save your changes as a new file, then clear out the comparison frames... it's that simple. The new Save As dialog allows you to save your merged changes as a separate file while maintaining the original compared files. With the ability to now merge multiple non-contiguous lines in Line Mode Merge, your differences can be merged across your entire file with the click of a button!
No UltraCompare release would be complete without Folder Mode enhancements. Version 5.10 brings you the ability to customize the look of the time and date format for your files while in folder mode. Not only that, you can now configure UltraCompare to ignore differing file timestamps in folder mode - great for those instances where the timestamp on your remote directory or server causes all files to show as different.
We've also enhanced your difference summary dialog to include file names, export your differences, start automatically after every compare. Version 5.10 also includes the option to store your configurations in your system registry or an INI file. Of course this version includes many other performance enhancements as well.
