New Feature Spotlight: Bookmark Viewer
As many in the user community already know, your feedback is driving v14.xx series. The purpose of the v14.xx series is to take core and commonly used features and perfect them. Click here to read more about our development plans for v14.xx.
Bookmarks is one of the features we've focused on in v14.10. Based on your feedback, we've enhanced the Bookmark viewer giving you the ability to customize and sort the column fields. The bookmark viewer not only displays the bookmark name, but also includes the line number, column number, and a bit of the text from the file.

Some background information that drove the feature:
We know that the old bookmark viewer satisfied the need of providing a convenient method to navigate to bookmarks from the main GUI, but it did not provide supplementary information about the bookmarks. For instance, it just gave you the bookmark name, but the burden of remembering what each bookmark was for was placed upon the user. Furthermore, the old bookmark viewer didn't provide any other information about the location in the file/etc.
Based on your feedback, and our ideas, we implemented an enhanced bookmark viewer that is more comprehensive in terms of information and usability. And... As you've come to expect from UltraEdit, it also offers customizability so you can change it to suit your needs.
The Bookmark Viewer demonstrates the thrust of the v14.xx development plans. Taking an existing feature and rounding it out, giving you more depth to the features you rely on daily. I am excited about the future of the v14.xx series, and the future of UltraEdit, as it marks another milestone along the path of seeking to achieve text-editing perfection.
As always, keep your feature requests coming, and be on the lookout for many exciting improvements over the coming months in the v14.xx series.
I hope you enjoy the improved v14.10.
