UltraCompare v7.10: Development Update
In January, I posted a development roadmap for the v7.xx series. I'm happy to report that we are on track with our plans.
v7.10 is a superb example of our unified approach to editing. We have replaced UltraCompare's legacy FTP client with the same FTP client used in UltraEdit and UEStudio. This enables dynamic account sharing between UE/UES/UC, FTP access in the Workspace Manager, and it further extends the cooperation between our products...
Besides representing the evolution of our editing/compare solution, v7.10 also represents the evolution of getting things done. We have taken your feedback and made enhancements across the board: from text/difference highlighting, to framework performance, to text/folder maintenance, and more.
I am confident you will enjoy these enhancements. But, perhaps the most powerful feature of UC v7.10, is its simplicity. The combined advancements from v7.00 (Sessions) and v7.10 (greater integration) have changed the way users approach their daily computing.
Now that we have turned the corner on v7.10 we are looking ahead to v7.20 (expected later this Summer) with equal excitement.
