Why is v7.xx a must-have series?

Why is v7.xx a must-have series? For starters, how about a adding a File Manager with an Integrated Sessions manager! Chase that with plans for a new integrated FTP Browser and Edit Control Engine, plus over 30 enhancements to existing features along the way...

What's our strategy? Enriching User Experience, Adding more Integration with UE, and Delivering Feature Depth.

v7.00: Targets Enriching User Experience

Our job is to make it as easy as possible to detect, analyze, and manage change - v7.00 addresses these with the new File Manager, Sessions, unlimited UNICODE support, and fully-enabled 64bit shell integration.

v7.10: Targets integration and feature depth

Because of the dynamic nature of technology all future release details are provisional; however, v7.10 is planned to bring over UltraEdit's FTP/SFTP browser. The updated FTP client will allow users common access and exchange of FTP account information from either UltraEdit, UEStudio, or UltraCompare. Plus, v7.10 will include a roll up of 10-20 enhancements to existing features.

v7.20: Further targets integration and feature depth

For those who want to do more advanced in-place editing within the diff session, or who desire to view the file structure with indentations and tabs, or who want to see highlighted output... v7.20 is for you.

Indeed, our provisional plan for v7.20 is to integrate our proprietary Edit Control Engine into UltraCompare. This is no ordinary Edit Control Engine, this is the backbone of World's Best Text Editor - being installed in UltraCompare. This is like replacing a 4 cylinder engine with a V8 Big Block. The new Edit Control Engine will open doors for UC that no other compare application can. Once integrated, Syntax Highlighting, Code Folding, and displaying other file properties/attributes will become possible within the compare/edit pane and output window.

v7.30: Targets feature depth and polish

This release will be pure polish that will deliver yet another round of enhancements to existing features.

V7.00 and every point release within the series will offer new and existing users significant benefits and advanced computing power.

So why is the v7.xx series the must-have series... because we are committed to being the World's Leading Text Editing Solution Provider and believe in delivering upon the value of 1-year of free upgrades.

Seems 7.20 will include everything I dreamt about :D

I'm glad I took lifetime upgrade... was not so cheap, but worth.
And to be honnest, binary smart compare already saved me a lot of time...

Geez, as cheap as UC is, I can't see not doing any of the upgrades. IU can't remeober which on it was but onve of them the performance really took off.
