UCx is a native Linux application. It does not require WINE or any other translation layer for installation and use. UCx will run on both the GNOME and KDE desktops. Select the appropriate installation package for your distribution of Linux below. If your distribution is not specifically listed, please download the .tar package.
Other distributions supported:
UltraCompare for Mac runs on all OSX systems 10.5 and later (Leopard, Snow Leopard, and Lion), with support for Intel-based processors only.
Currently distribution-specific packages of UltraCompare for Linux are available for Ubuntu 10.04, Ubuntu 10.10 and Ubuntu 11.04 (both 32-bit and 64-bit). For all other distributions (both 32-bit and 64-bit), a tar package is available. While the tar package allows UltraCompare to be installed on any Linux distribution, we cannot provide support for any issues related to installation or dependencies. IDM will only guarantee support of UltraCompare on the Linux distributions specifically named above.
Upon installation, you will be provided a 30 day trial period depending on previous usage. After this period expires, you must purchase a license to continue using the application.
