Macro playback - get rid of flashing screen?

Postby runbei » Mon Dec 25, 2006 6:09 pm

I've configured the keyboard with WordStar-like key assignments. In order to configure Ctrl-J (Enter/Return), I had used a macro.

When I press Ctrl-J, a box flashes on the screen. It's a little annoying. I prefer a "quiet" screen when I edit. Can I deactivate this? Thanks.

In menu Macro click on Delete Macro/Modify Properties, select your macro, uncheck Show Cancel Dialog for this macro and press the button OK to save the modification. Then click on Macro - Save All to save the modified macro set.

Do you know the UE command Edit - Insert Line which is available in the key mapping configuration dialog as EditInsertLine for key assignment too?

Thanks a bunch! This is great. Thanks also for the "Edit - Insert Line" tip. I'm using that with Ctrl-N (for insert a line and leave cursor where it is).
