What does "Set Default Account" do?

Postby djlurch » Wed Nov 24, 2010 4:21 pm

On the FTP Account Manager applet there is a "Set Default Account" button.

I looked in the UE Help section and it said: "The Set Default Account button sets the active/selected account as the default account specified by an asterisk "*" following the account name in the list."

What does setting an FTP account as the default actually do?

Well, I'm not using FTP and therefore don't really know it. I suppose that this account is preselected when you execute File - FTP/Telnet - Open from FTP and Save As to FTP. And perhaps the settings of the default account are preset for new accounts.

Mofi:

Thanks for the response.

It appears that is exactly what it does. I use the "File View" tab to access files via FTP. Since I do not use the menu (File->FTP->Browse), I did not see that.
