How to save as to FTP AND to filesystem?

File / FTP / Save As to FTP is a great feature. But I notice that it is copying the file to FTP without saving the new version to my local filesystem. Is there a way to configure this puppy to save the file to both places?

From within the FTP Accounts configuration dialog, specify a directory under Local Copy Directory. All files saved to that FTP account will then also be backed up to that local directory.

Thanks for the response, but that didn't fix it for me. I wonder if I have something else set (or should have something else set) that is blocking this.

It would be nice to be able to specify %P or somesuch and have the local save be dependent on the path of the currently edited local file. AFAIK this isn't possible (?)
