30027: Component was busy and got disconnected

Postby stevedurie » Mon Aug 22, 2005 7:25 am

I have been using open and save as with ftp regularly (SFTP/22), but suddenly any ftp action results in a long delay and then the message "30027: Component was busy and got disconnected". My other ftp clients continue to work fine with the same remote site.
I have deleted the ftp account and redefined it, I have uninstalled Ultra-edit and re-installed using the latest upgrade, I have checked my firewall and renewed the access rules for ultra-edit; all to no avail.
Are there any other suggestions as to how I can find the problem.
Help appreciated.

I got the same problem.

After couple of trial I found that
set prompt in my .cshrc file or .login file made lots of trouble for ultraedit to understand.

I uncommented the set prompt, then everything is fine.
I could use FTP.

Hope this bug will be fixed soon!

My environment are solaris 8 and login shell csh

Sorry the problem was not due to set prompt.
It was the error in my set prompt

Basically any login script errors are not pardanoble by ultraedit

I get this same problem, but only occasionally (though frequently enough to be quite annoying). I'm guessing it's a timeout. If that is the case, I would like to see the code do a simple retry or three, rather than putting up this annoying message.

Thank you.

Return to FTP/SFTP / SSH/Telnet
