For the FTP Open window the Filter is grey and not active. How do I activate the Filter box?

I found the problem. If you configure an account to use SSH the filter area is disabled. If you configure an acount to use standard FTP the filter area is enabled.

OK, but I have to wonder, why would this be? Ultraedit could retrieve the full directory listing, and then do filtering locally. If it does this then it will not matter whether it was retrieved by regular FTP, encrypted FTP, or carrier pigeon.

I have Ultraedit-32 version: 13.10a+1
if I want retrive some files by SFTP, The filter is DISABLED,
while if I want retrive some files by SFTP using Browser it is ENABLED but it doesn't work.

This same problem also affects 13.10a+2. Any fixes in the offing?

It's been 18 months since the last post in this thread. I take it there are no updates for this, especially older versions?
