running SFTP from console

Hi,

I have UltraEdit v13.

How can I start SFTP connection from console ?

In my task I have to write a script that makes SFTP connection everyday and download particular file.

I would be very greatful for Your help.

I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean start SFTP download to your pc from within the console/the remote system ?

The SSH/Telnet console does not integrate into the rest of UE in any other way than through the manual clipboard actions (cut/copy/paste). So from the remote system you cannot force a download into UE.

You have to access your file through your defined SFTP-account from File - FTP/Telnet - Open from FTP. You can bookmark this file in File - Favorite Files... for easy access.
