Subversion Support for HTTPS

Postby lhotskyb » Fri Jul 14, 2006 7:54 pm

A number of my coworkers use UltraEdit as their primary IDE. I'm in the process of moving all our code to a subversion repository and because I've been able to tie authentication on the repository into the AD Domain, I'd very much prefer the UltraEdit SVN tool to be able to use SSL, actually, I'm going to require it for SVN Access.

Any idea if this feature is planned and when it might be available? I'm going to have to find a workaround in the meantime.

Thanks,

--brad.

I'm in the same boat. I use UEStudio and I was jsut told we are moving to a Subversion system. We are doing it over SSH though and I was wondering if that is supported yet? Also can anyone point me in the right direction for information on Subversion and how UEStudio works with it?

Thanks as always!

I got around this using TortoiseSVN. My coworkers checkout their code from the repository using TortoiseSVN and then edit it locally using UltraEdit, then commit using TortoiseSVN.

According to IDM, they are planning to add https support as well as ssh support in a future version (no idea as to exactly when that will be though).

Anyone have any update on this? The project detects that I'm using subversion but I can't select https from the options dropdown for configuring my repo.
