UltraEdit uses a very outdated version of Tidy

Help with setting up and configuring custom user tools in UltraEdit (based on command line input)

I've also noticed in the 11.00b+ version the toolbar button for Tidy does nothing. I've added this to my default toolbar as I use it daily to do a quick code-check on HTML source and it is invaluable for providing a quick response. Can anyone confirm the toolbar button not working for them?

Great detective work, myst and others!

Thanks for figuring out how to upgrade the Tidy DLL in ultraedit, but now we're faced with a new problem since the newest Tidy builds have some incompatibility problems with older ones...

We need to get the UltraEdit programmers to look at the new Tidy source and get the new Tidy versions working with ultraedit 11.10+

Until then, at least we can use the 041215 version of Tidy which is newer than Nov 2003 :)

Can anyone tell me if the latest version of HTML Tidy applies formatting to XML files also? It seems the current ver of it in UE doesn't.

Thanks,
Jeff
