Oh man, this sucks. I'm using the latest version of UE, not the Studio, and it does the same thing. I *love* having tabs, not just in UE but any program that allows more than one file to be open at any time; it makes it exceedingly easy to to see at a glance which file you are working on, especially when you have more than 2 or 3 open, and having to enable and disable viewing the tabs simply to tile is a huge PITA. Heck, now it's not even obvious that you even HAVE more than one window open at any time if you disabled tabs. I know, I know, there's other ways to do that, but it's an extra click or more to do that. Plus I thought maybe I could put Open File Tabs [from the View menu] onto my tool bar to at least make it quickly available, but I don't see that as an option, darn it, unless it has a different name?
Why on earth is this considered to be a "benefit"? I had just "re-upped" my bundle for another year, but I would absolutely NOT have done that had I known how this "feature" would work, and am strongly considering going back to my previous version. Come on, IDM, rethink this one and bring back the tabs AND tiling for multiple windows.
