File Explorer - Show current File

Postby ellinj » Wed Dec 02, 2009 3:18 pm

Is there a way to have the File-View Explorer tab navigate to the current open file. Not sure if a feature like this exists. If I am not clear I am looking for something like the Eclipse option called "Link with Editor"

Handy when I need to find a file that is in the same folder or nearby folder as one I am looking at.

That's easy enough. Right click on the tab of the current file, and select the context menu item "Find in Explorer pane" and it will go straight to it.

Is there a "command" associated with this so I can create a keyboard shortcut?

No, you can't assign a hotkey to this command. Write a feature request email to IDM support. Maybe the developers can make available this command in the key mapping dialog in a future version.
