Command Line Option for Word Doc compare

Postby bcullinan » Tue Dec 05, 2006 11:01 pm

Is there a command line option that does a Word doc comparison? I realize UltraCompare can compare two Word docs from within the tool. However, the -t switch does not work; the output is meaningless gibberish. Just for grins, I also tried the -x and -p switches. They also didn't work.

Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Sorry, but I think NO! A Word *.doc compare cannot be started from command line.

It looks like UltraCompare does the check for Word/RTF document and the necessary conversion to text format only when loading a *.doc or *.rtf file from within UltraCompare.
