Auto-Refresh for outside changes possible ?

Auto-Refresh for outside changes possible ?

Assume currently are two files loaded into UC.

Then I edit one of the two files outside of UC through a text editor.
I add e.g a line at the top of the file.
This change is not visible in UC.

Ok, I could click "Refresh" but it would be nice to be automatically informed by UC that a content has changed. UC should offer to load the new content (or do it automatically).

Is there a auto-resfresh function in UC ?

UltraEdit e.g. has a function which let the editor detect outside changes.

As you can read at UltraCompare Professional v4.20 Released!, v4.20 of UltraCompare Professional has a new feature: Automatic detection of a change to a loaded file.

Click on Options - Configuration - File Handling - File Change Detection to enable the new feature.
