SPECIFY DEFAULT MODE IN UC
Description: There ought to be a way to specify the default mode in which UC should start. Currently, it saves the mode used last and always starts in that mode.
Comment: This is useful where calling UC from a different product makes certain modes impractical, e.g., when specifying UC to do text comparisons with other programs. It must call the text mode, not directory mode, regardless of what was used last. Specifying the "-t" flag isn't possible in the configuration of the other program.
Ideas: 1) QUICK FIX: Compile separate binary names with the -t or -d flags implied.
2) Add a configuration toggle to Remember Mode Used-Last and if unchecked, to specify one of the modes as the default.
