Using version 6.00.0.1005 when I create a profile and select cookies to save UltraSentry acts like it works but does not really save the settings. Using System Internals/Microsoft ProcMon I found that UltraSentry is trying to write the settings to a protected directory and is being denied.
C:\Program Files\IDM Computer Solutions\UltraSentry\Cookies\Basic.pfc

These settings probably should be written in another location.

I can confirm this behavior with US v6.00.0.1007 on Windows XP and I agree that a better storage location would be %appdata%\IDMComp\UltraSentry\Cookies\ Please report this issue to IDM by email (click on link at top of the page) or using the support form.

Addition: I reported this issue on 2010-11-17 and got the reply that this is a known issue for Windows 7/Vista.

Update: This problem is fixed with UltraSentry v6.10 because storage location changed to %appdata%\IDMComp\UltraSentry\Cookies\ as suggested.
