yesterday I installed US 13.00.0.10. But I'm a bit disappointed about how US is working or maybe I expected something that US is not able/capable to provide:
- When storing a directory with text files in the locker, I'm still able to browse that directory using the windows explorer. The file contents is encrypted, but the directory, filenames and file types (i.e. extension) are still readable. I would have expected that access to everything inside the locker is restricted and that everything including directory, file names and file types are encrypted. Even more I thought that US has to be "active" and "unlocked" to get access to the files even when using another program. That's what I thought is meant by "explorer integration".
- When double clicking a file in the locker the content is decrypted to show the file with the corresponding program (in my case a .txt file is displayed with UES). But the file remains decrypted and IMHO this should be visible inside the locker with a different icon (yes, there is the "Status" showing that the file is open, but this column is outside the scroll region. At least the file gets automatically encrypted again when I close US or the inactivity period times out.
Thanks,
Stefan
