How to apply different color to changed values in hex mode?

When in hex mode, is there a way to have edited values show up in a different color so it stands out from unaltered values? After saving, the color of the edited values should then reset to normal color.

No that's not possible. But I can easily see why it could be useful. I suggest you send IDM a feature request. See e-mail address at the top of this page.
