How to view files with long lines without wrap?

Postby adc_mis » Mon Jan 31, 2005 6:33 pm

I have a problem. A client wants to send me files that are over 4097 characters per line (5502 chars in this case). How do I get UE to display the entire line rather than wrapping at 4097 characters?

I would really appreciate some help.

Thanks!

Advanced > Configuration > General > Display

Allows you to set the value as high as 20000

Thank you. But I may need to upgrade, I have version 7.20 and there is no Display entry under the General tab. But it is good to know it IS possible.

You need at least V10.10 to increase Max Columns= up to 20000 at section [Settings] in the ini-file or with the general configuration page.

Hi brian.simpson

Send a email to IDM support and make a suggestion for a new feature.

Let us know what they say.

Good Luck
