RegReplaceHexStr - replace hex codes of REG_EXPAND_SZ and REG_MULTI_SZ with text

The script idea was inspired from Searching and copying multi-line strings and the other thread Convert REG_MULTI_SZ hex to text posted at the IDM user-to-user forum.


Script features

• Replace hex codes of REG_EXPAND_SZ registry values with readable strings in a *.REG file.
• Replace hex codes of REG_MULTI_SZ registry values with readable strings in a *.REG file.

Requirements

• This script requires at least UltraEdit v13.10 or UEStudio v06.30.
