Truncating all whitespace after save/quit/re-open

Anytime I exit out of UE for Mac (v3.3.0.4), have noticed that UE is truncating all the whitespace in all my UE files when I re-open.

I have attempted to explore all the options and have found nothing that is triggering this behavior.
This only began happening after I upgraded to v3.3.0.4, but only noticed it in the past month.

Preferences -> Load/Save -> Trim trailing spaces on file save

Preferences -> File Handling -> Load/Save -> Trim trailing spaces on file save was not checked nor selected
and its still truncating the whitespace upon exit/re-open.

well I just tried it with and without it checked (I usually keep it checked)... and it responded as advertised...

did not trim lines when unchecked and file was saved and reloaded.
DID trim when checked.


OSX 10.7.5 ... UE 3.3.0.4

also tried with OSX 10.8.1 worked there too
