How to delete DOS command history?

Postby craigsl » Thu Sep 16, 2004 12:35 am

I was playing with the Advanced->DOS Command and typed in a command. I did this a couple times and now want to delete it from the the pull down menu. That is, I want to remove the commands that I entered in, but cannot figure out how to do this. Please help.

Open your INI file (uedit32.ini) with Notepad and search for section [DOS Execute] and all sections starting with [DOS ...]. Delete this sections with their entries (lines starting with 0=..., 1=...).

Depending on version of UltraEdit there is also the button Clear History at Advanced - Configuration - Toolbars / Menus - Miscellaneous to delete all histories including the DOS command history.
