How to remove 'Open "c:somedirsomefile"' from context menu

The customizable menus are nice!

The thing I like most about the configurable menus is that I can toss out all the functions that I never need or use by keyboard
anyway.

But: How can I remove the first menu entry, the one that takes the word you clicked nearby and guesses a filename for opening?

It's so annoying, because the menu width is always too wide, always changing and I'll simply never use that function.

Also, take another vote for disabling the config menu animation. I think I'll never understand how this could make it into a production
release.

Thanks,

Florian

The animation of the configurations dialog can be disabled at Application Layout - Miscellaneous - Animate Configuration Dialogs. What is default is a different thing.

I think, the "Open File Highlighted" feature cannot be disabled at v11.20 or lower. Write a feature request to IDM by email.
