Changing extension case

Is there any way to change the default extension on txt files to lowercase? I know it's silly, but having .TXT at the end annoys me for some reason...

Open Configuration - File Types, select the line with *.TXT, edit TXT to txt, press the Replace button and close the configuration dialog with OK.
