Can I show the list of recent files on the file menu?

Hi-

I want to see a list of recent files IN the File menu like it works in Office products (as opposed to within the Recent Files submenu of the File menu). Is that possible?

Configuration - Toolbars / Menus - Miscellaneous - Recent files list on File menu.

I was happy when I saw that option yesterday - but when I tried it, it did not seem to work - which is why I posted.

Moral of the story: exit and relaunch UltraEdit to see the change...!
