Font Dialog Message

Hi...

When I open a .txt file in Studio by double clicking, I get this error:



And I have NO idea of how to make it stop doing that...But it only does it when I double click, if I open an item in the context menu, it opens no problems...

Any help here is greatly appreciated...

Which version of UEStudio do you have?

Since v5.50 there is a Code Page Detection feature and it looks like it is enabled. See option Prompt to change font and script if different from default system code page at Configuration - File Handling - Code Page Detection.

Edited on 2006-09-17: Same options for Code Page Detection also exist in UltraEdit since v12.10.

I have had set the File Change Detection to Disable and I get the same message in the popup. Do I need to un/check something else?

No, not File Change Detection. I have written about Code Page Detection which should be disabled or a better font is used which supports all code pages. This is the 3rd configuration dialog between Backup and Conversions in the File Handling group if you don't have an English version of UE.

well I found an option that says - confirm change of font and / or codepage

That one I turned off, and gone is the dialog (:-))
