Meaning of option "Word wrap/Tab settings"

Hello,

I'd like to understand what the option "Default Word Wrap On for Each File" (I have a french version!) from Editor -> "Word wrap settings" (in the configuration box).

I tried the help but the chapter displays the wrong infos : it opens "Delimiters" help page.

With Default Word Wrap On for Each File checked word wrapping is ON by default for all files with the extension shown in the extension list at top of the dialog. The options in the wrap method box below specifies which method is used.

Please note that all settings on this configuration page are only for the currently selected extensions in the extension dropdown list at top of this dialog. So it is possible to activate Word Wrap by default for all files with extension txt but not for files with the extension c h cpp.

Default in the extension list means all files with an extension not specified in the whole extension list and new files (no file name or extension).

To toggle manually the word wrap mode on/off click on menu item Edit - Toggle Word-Wrap or on the appropriate toolbar icon.
