How to transfer a custom toolbar to a different environment

Postby Vorpal » Fri Jan 09, 2009 6:26 pm

Using UE v14.20
I have a custom toolbar called ABCD
I have two environments, called ENV1 and ENV2
ABCD is available in ENV1 but not in ENV2.

How do I transfer or otherwise make the toolbar ABCD appear when I'm using ENV2.

Yes, I could recreate it, but I'm sure that there is a simple way that I'm just overlooking.

The toolbar settings are stored since UE v14.00 in files with the extension TB1. So open the directory of uedit32.ini - normally %appdata%\IDMComp\UltraEdit\ - by copying this path into the address bar of Windows Explorer and pressing key RETURN.

You will see the user specific UltraEdit application data files. You have to look on *.tb1 which are the text files containing the toolbar configuration. Open the 2 files of the 2 environments you use in UltraEdit and copy the appropriate lines.
