Is that really impossible? What about combining both. Let's say you have the words INNERTAG, TEXTTAG, BLOCKTAG and ANEXTREMLYLONGTAG.

An expression like [ABIT][ELN][ENOX][CETX][RKT]++[EGLMNORY]++TAG matches all of them, and also many other strings. But perhaps no other strings are found in the larger context.

That would work if every TAG ended with "TAG" -- but they do not. They are arbitrary strings.

If there is TAG or a space/tab required after optional string part does not matter. I could really help you more easily when you would provide a real data file.

There are over 50 such tags -- I can probably take it from here -- didn't want to be a nuisance.
