Can I apply syntax highlighting based on folder / directory the file resides in?

Is there a way to have UltraEdit know to select the wordfile type based on the folder I open them from?
Or when I save a new file.

This forum had that same question posed Oct 19, 2007.
The answer was "no" back then (version 12?).
But I was hoping that enhancement has been made 5 years later on v17.
Maybe the secret it to use "projects", which I haven't looked at.

TIA,
Chuck

I don't have UE 17, but UE 18.10. My information, is of course for 18.10, but I believe it works that way on 17 as well.

When you set up a project, you can specify an optional wordfile for syntax highlighting for that project.

If you set up each directory as a separate project, you should be able to mimic the behavior you are looking for. Does that help?
