Folders/Directories

The Directories branch under Preferences allows the default directories used by the editor to be configured. The following options are supported:

Default save folder/directory	sets the default folder/directory for saving files with the Save As Command
Macro default folder/directory	sets the default folder/directory for loading and saving macros
Template folder/directory	Sets the folder/directory for template storage
Default open folder/directory	sets the default directory for opening files with the Open command if no files are opened for editing (otherwise the active file's directory is used)
Default project file folder/directory	sets the default folder/directory for creating new projects with the New Project/Workspace command

Default Save folder/directory

Normally the folder/directory used for the Save As command is the default folder/directory which may vary depending on which folder/directory was last used for a file open and may be any folder/directory.

This may be overridden by specifying the default folder/directory that is always presented when the Save As command is used. If this item is left blank then the default folder/directory is the default folder/directory for the process.
