New Folder dialog
Article Number: 1732 | Last Updated: Fri, Oct 21, 2011 3:07 PM
The New Folder dialog allows users to specify settings for folders to be added to the active project.
The Folder field specifies the full path to the local folder to be added to the active project. If the Group checkbox is selected all other items are subdued and the added folder is only a placeholder for organization within the project and does not relate to an actual folder on the local system.
The Filter field specifies extensions for files to be displayed within the added folder.
If Link Folder to FTP/SFTP location is selected the following options are available:
The FTP/SFTP Account field specifies the account to be associated with the added folder. The added folder will act as a mirror for the specified folder on the remote server.
The Remote Path field specifies the path to the directory on the remote server to be associated with the added folder.
The Maximum Recursion Level field is used to specify the number of subdirectories from the specified remote folder that will be included in the added folder.
The Server Clock Skew setting relates to synchronization of local/remote files. The user may specify a difference of a number of seconds in the timestamp between the local copy of files/folder and the remote copy that should be ignored when synchronizing the project folder with the remote folder. This would allow for time zone differences between the local and remote system as well as minor variations should one system not keep time well.
