  • "List lines containing string" dialog available in Find
  • File auto-save
  • File backup
  • Ability to rename active file
  • Ability to specify line/column number position when opening files from command line
  • Shebang (#!) detection for syntax highlighting
  • File state saved
    • Edit mode and settings are remembered (column mode, hex mode, word wrap)
    • Code folding, bookmarks, and encoding are remembered
  • Ability to position cursor beyond line end
  • Fixed some painting issues with copy/paste
  • Fixed a crash when adding file to project from context menu
  • Fixed issue where column mode editing only affects first line in mixed line terminator files
  • Fixed issue with selecting via Shift + PageUp / Shift + PageDown
  • Spaces/tabs/line are now retained after closing application
  • Fixed issue where erroneous space prepended to %p tool output

  • Greatly improved speed and performance when scrolling with Arrow Up/Down and Page Up/Down
  • Function list improvements, including:
    • Sorting of functions alphabetically
    • Copy function list to clipboard
    • Better active line synchronization with highlighting in function list
  • Command line improvements, including:
    • Ability to create new files in UEx from command line
    • File open from command line no longer reloads previously-open files
  • Word wrap state is now remembered from session to session
  • Added ability to position caret beyond line end
  • Fixed issue where template list is corrupted when modified
  • Fixed issue where bookmarks are not retained following file close
  • Fixed issue with encoding selection not functioning properly in File Open dialog

  • Added toolbar icons for Clipboard History, Function List, and Tool Process List
  • Enhancements for Madriva 2010
  • Status bar now correctly updates with current column position when backspacing/deleting
  • Creating a new user tool now no longer automatically unhides TOOLS toolbar
  • Fixed a couple of issues related to tools and variables (%rp, %f, etc.)
  • Fixed issue where PageDown won't scroll to end of file
  • Fixed issue where playing macro to end of file causes crash
  • Fixed cursor positioning issue following "Trim trailing spaces" on file save
  • Fixed line number display issues when word wrap is enabled

  • Fixed mouse-click caret positioning issue following long scroll with scroll thumb
  • Fixed macro search string erroneously changing after macro save operation
  • Fixed issue with missing caret following Ctrl + End, Ctrl + Home
  • Fixed Page Up only scrolling one line at a time
  • Fixed CPU spike when "Show Line Endings" is enabled and text is selected
  • Fixed issue where undo is erroneous following macro play
  • Page Down now can take you to end of file
