Two Way Text Compare provides text comparison in two files in text or binary (fast or smart) modes. Includes relational line modes, merge capabilities, and the option to save your results.

Two Way Folder Compare allows you to compare two directories with the option to recursively compare all contained subdirectories with full merge capabilities.

Find Duplicates allows you to select any number of folders which are then scanned by UltraCompare to locate all duplicate files among them, based on criteria you provide.

Folder Synchronization, similar to folder mode, allows you to choose two folders and sync up the differences between them based on any number of sync rules.

Need to sync up your production files with your backup directory? Want to true up photos between two folders and remove the duplicates? Looking to reconcile your data files with your coworker's? That's where UltraCompare's powerful folder synchronization mode can help you.

Folder Sync is designed to save you time by allowing you to see the different files between two folders and then apply rule-based synchronization actions to them to sync them. The folder sync mode is displayed similarly to a regular folder compare session, except that only differences are shown between the two folders. Additionally, folder sync mode includes a few extra buttons for configuring and executing your sync.

Syncing two folders with UltraCompare is incredibly easy, intuitive, and fast. In fact, you can start syncing your folders in five quick and easy steps:

1. Open a new folder sync session via the Session -> New Session menu.
2. Type in two paths of (or use the brows button to select) the two folders you wish to sync.
3. Click the green "Go" button to see the different files between the two folders.
4. Select your sync rule at the bottom left of the compare frame.
5. Click "Start Sync". You're done!

Folder sync is so simple, anyone can use it. However, we've also added a few advanced features for our power users. Should you desire to change the sync action for one of your files - perhaps you wish to keep the old copy - you can simply click the drop down arrow in the "Action" column to change it.

You can also customize the rules used to sync folders by clicking the "Customize Rules" button... change one of our pre-defined rules, or create and add your own. Finally, folder sync supports syncing folders from both local and remote locations, so if you need to sync up your local dev site to your live production site, that's no problem at all with UltraCompare's integrated FTP client!
