Introducing Smart Templates

Welcome UltraEdit/UEStudio users! We here at IDM are very excited about the all-new Smart Templates feature, and I hope you enjoy our video demo below. With Smart Templates, you can set up language-specific code templates and insert them (either automatically or through existing auto-complete functionality) based upon context (i.e., what kind of source file you're editing). Furthermore, Smart Templates allow you to add as many custom variables/placeholders to your template as you'd like, then tab through them upon insertion in order to complete the template.

UltraEdit and UEStudio include several pre-defined templates for default highlighting languages (C++, C#, Java, HTML, Javascript, PHP, Perl, etc.). Use these or create your own - you'll be amazed at how much time this feature saves you!
