Customizing the colors in UltraCompare

Have you ever wanted to customize the display of UltraCompare's difference panes? Designed with configurability in mind, UltraCompare allows you to easily customize the color scheme.

If you have a favorite color scheme, or are accustomed to your own color settings, you can set the color scheme within UltraCompare to suit your preferences!

Customizing UltraCompare's Color Scheme

You can access UltraCompare's color configurations from the Options menu, by selecting color as shown below.

From the Color & Font configuration you can customize the colors and font settings for UltraCompare. You can also select one of four preset color schemes.

As you scroll through these schemes, UltraCompare will show you a preview of the colors within the configuration dialog.

If you'd like to set your own colors for UltraCompare, select the text you would like to configure (Match Text, Difference Text, etc.), and then click on the "Foreground" and "Background" colors to the right to set these colors. You can choose any color you'd like by defining a custom color within the color selector window.
