We have replaced UltraCompare's legacy FTP client with the same FTP client used in UltraEdit and UEStudio. This enables dynamic account sharing between UE/UES/UC, FTP access in the Workspace Manager, and further extends the cooperation between our products.
New: Re-engineered FTP engine with expanded FTP protocol support
UltraCompare v7.10 includes a completely re-engineered FTP engine that improves FTP downloads/uploads as well as support for the FTPS protocol. In fact, the FTP Open/Save As dialogs in UltraCompare use the same FTP control engine that you've come to know and love in UltraEdit. Our FTP enhancements include:

- FTP access via Explorer view

Like UltraEdit and UEStudio, UltraCompare now provides full FTP account access through the file explorer in the Workspace Manager. Need to compare a file or folder from your remote server? No problem - just expand the FTP account in the explorer pane and then drag and drop the file/folder on the remote server into the appropriate compare pane.
New: Share FTP accounts between UltraEdit and UltraCompare
Need to add a new FTP account to UE and UC? With UC v7.10 you can now do this in one place with FTP account sharing. In order to use this feature, you'll need UC v7.10 and UE 16.00.
