New scripting/macro functionality
Every release of the v17.x series has included additions and improvements to macros/scripting, and v17.30 is no exception.
UltraEdit.activeDocument.UTF8ToASCII();
// converts ASCII file to UTF-8
UltraEdit.activeDocument.ASCIIToUTF8();
Similar macro commands are now available for UTF-8 conversion:
